Choose a translation path
Depending on the language pair and what is available on your device, you can use Apple Translation, an installed on-device model, or a connected cloud model. The screen shows the selected engine so you can make that choice deliberately.
Keep the source and result together
Enter or paste the text you need, review the translation alongside its source, and copy the result into the conversation or document you are working on. For recurring terminology, use the glossary features available in the app.
Work offline when the selected model supports it
Some translation workflows can run locally after a compatible model is installed. Language coverage and availability depend on the selected engine, model, and device.
